Vorlage:Proposed deletion/dated Vorlage:Orphan Vorlage:Notability The Liverpool Chester Bike Ride is the largest mass participation cycle ride in Merseyside and Cheshire. The route starts and finishes by St George's Hall, Liverpool. The cycle event is made famous by the exclusive use of the Mersey Tunnel. There are various distance to take part in; a 90 mile Sportive route and a choice of 54, 28 and 25 miles routes. The route meanders throughWirral and the north Cheshire villages of Thornton Hough, Willaston, Parkgate, Heswall with a halfway stop at Countess of Chester Hospital health park. The sportive route takes rider further afield through Barrow, Ashton, Delamere, Norley.

The ride is held annually on a Sunday in July, the event noramlly attracts around 2200 cyclists.
